Your privacy is important to us. Please know that your information is
managed in house with all orders and we will not be sharing it with anyone, EVER for any reason. No ones
credit card or payment method is saved anywhere and will not be on file.
All non-stainless steel blades will oxidize (or rust) if not cared for properly. Any light weight oil will work and should be applied after each use or if being stored. I prefer Olive Oil as it is not too heavy and is food grade (watch what you put on your blade because it may end up in your mouth when processing meat).
To keep your knife properly sharpened it should only be stropped on leather or a fine whet stone to avoid removing too much material from the edge. A sharpening stone should only be used in the instance of severe dullness or damage. Keeping a knife sharp is easy but does take a little practice.
We at IHK build the best knives that hands can forge and create. We appreciate your trust and your hard earned money and we want you to be confident with your lifetime investment with a lifetime warranty. All knives come with a lifetime warranty on the blade only which covers any defects of material and craftsmanship (this will be reviewed case by case and will only qualify for manufacture defects and not misuse, abuse or otherwise lack of proper maintenance) If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase you can return it within 30 days of the purchase date for a full refund.
We strive to ship
your order as soon as possible but please note that packages are shipped
usually within 2 business days* (Business days are Monday through Friday). We
do not promise or offer same day shipping. We are not responsible for delays in promised delivery dates due
to adverse weather conditions. However, please give us a call if you have
special circumstances or need additional assistance with delivery options.
Custom work will obviously take longer and will be discussed case by case prior
to placing your order. International orders are no problem and will be calculated at checkout.
If you decide you do not want the product, you may return any
unused or unopened product for a full refund or store credit (minus shipping
charges. Clearance items are excluded). However, you have 30 days from the ship
date to return the product. Credit will only be issued for products not return shipping.
Return postage is at your expense and will not be included in your credit. Please send your return with your email confirmation or packing list from your original
order to expedite your refund and or credit.
*All refunds (including cancelled orders) will be issued by check
(expect when purchase was made by PayPal; then your refund will be credited back
to your PayPal account) or store credit (if requested). Credits will
be processed and issued upon receipt of the returned merchandise.
