This knife is the ultimate wood crafting knife or the one “go to” knife to carry outdoors or simply in the woods!
This beautiful yet useful creation was a custom design from a customer and now dear friend – Terry Taylor from Virginia, who is an avid outdoorsman (a real mans man) who had the perfect knife in mind and just needed someone to bring it to life.
What came from several design changes and great discussions the Revelator was created! (The most perfect name for this knife came from the fact that both Terry and I had “Revelations” about ourselves and more importantly our great Creator later in life. It was no chance or coincidence that we came together on this amazing project and are now good friends and brothers in Christ!
This knife has all the right curves in just the right places. Imagine squeezing a wad of soft clay around your knife as a handle and this is exactly how amazing this feels in the hand. The blade is big and heavy (but perfectly balanced and ergonomically perfect making it truly an extension of your arm and not just a knife that fits in your hand). IHK Woodcraft Knife – The Revelator

Awesome One-of-a-Kind!
I just purchased my first knife from Indy Hammered Knives with a California Buckeye/Lava Resin handle and custom blade. The workmanship is exquisite and the finished product is beautiful and bold. My family gave me a gift certificate towards an IHK knife. Looking over the options on the website, I was drawn to “The Revelator”. I appreciate the back-story of it’s creation and naming. I just received the knife, and wow! It is a beautiful handmade creation. It fits my hand like a glove, and the hammered blade is exquisite craftsmanship. I admit it is my first handmade, custom, heavy duty fixed blade knife, so I don’t have anything to personally compare it to, but I wholeheartedly recommend it and IHK as a quality product and company.

Wow!!!
I have wanted a IHK for a long time and finally got one. The Revalator was very intriguing because it is a very unique shape. I hoped I would get get before I went backpacking but was off a couple days. In December I’ll submit another review after using it. Upon looks, feel in your hand and fit/finish…I’ll quote my son when I let him hold it, “Wow!” I have well over 50 knives, he’s never said that! I to say, wow!!!
